Key transport trends white papers released by DHL
Logistics firm DHL Supply Chain is releasing a series of opinion papers based on their 10 transport trends for businesses in the UK.
Tim Slater, Managing Director, Transport, DHL Supply Chain, commented: "The way businesses use transport is changing. As the economic context evolves, and consumer demands increase, businesses can and should expect more. Innovative thinking and new technology is driving change in the market. This series will set out what we believe are the trends generating that change, and ultimately helping to create a transport industry that is fit for the future.”
The first opinion paper on the commercial use of alternative fuels – Driving fuel innovation – explores how advances in natural gas are driving carbon reduction, and how businesses are finding ways to convert waste in one part of their operation to fuel vehicles in another.
